I have been a Democrat all of my adult life. I am switching to Republican because I want someone with experience, leadership and fairness to protect my country. Mr. Obama doesn’t offer me anything solid I can depend on. I don’t even know to this day what any of his convictions actually are. He has his hands in too many pots. He talks in circles. And he has some pretty nasty friends. What exactly does he owe all these elitist corporations? It will be interesting to see how much money AIG has given to the Obama campaign. We know how much Fannie and Freddie gave. Obviously Lehman Bros. didn’t give any. Most importantly I want my family safe and secure, the rest will follow. I want a Commander in Chief that I trust and who is upfront and honest with me. “Country First” YES…..because we are “the Country”.

I support John McCain and Sarah Palin because
I am a working mother of a teenage daughter and I want to ensure that her future is as bright and safe as it can possibly be and I believe that electing Senator McCain and Governor Palin will be in the best interest of my family and our Nation. I have never been overly political, but as a working mother I take it quite personally the treatment Gov. Palin has received over her daughter’s pregnancy and I will be a vocal supporter of this ticket and the Republican party
§Jan Lee Birch

Please add my name to your list as a woman supporter for Senator John McCain & Governor Sarah Palin! I am voting for this ticket for many reasons:
1) I am a female business owner.
2) Belief that life begins at conception and
should be valued and protected.

right.

typical white boys club. She has actually got me fired up for the first time to go out and work for Senator McCain. Thanks for sending the
pictures. I attended the "96 and 2000 conventions, but we didn't have pictures like this as a remembrance from the party itself. --

Please add my name to the list of supporters for Senator John McCain for President. I live in Sugar Hill (Gwinnett County). I greatly admire Senator McCain and respect him for his character, honesty, and integrity. His is truly a great American and in all things has the country's best interest at heart. He is truly the most qualified, most experienced candidate. Since I am a republican, my plans were to vote for John McCain all along. However, his addition of Governor Sarah Palin to the ticket has added to my enthusiasm. She is a breath of fresh air, and this addition just solidifies my decision.

The entry below is typical of what we are hearing in many areas. This person asked that her name not be included . . . "Just fyi - we are voting for McCain but only because we believe, though we are royally screwed either way, under McCain/Palin the final decline of this once great nation will be slower than the warp five disintegration we will see under Obama/Biden.I'm telling you this because you can pass this on to those who might want to know there are many like us who won't openly support McCain but still we will vote for him and the polls don't reflect our group of disenchanted citizens."

§Judy Simpson - Tift County Chair

Obama is vey frightening!! Clint and I are enthusiastically delivering yard signs, bumper stickers, etc. If our local voters are representative of most voters we are in great shape. We have our fall festival later this month and have recruited many (including young people) to work at the Republican booth. We are also having Col. Lee Ellis speak at our October 21st meeting and are expecting a good crowd. We also distributed a GOP targeted list of voters at our last meeting with promises to call. The interest is greater than I have seen in years.
§Jan Smith, Flowery Branch, Hall Co
Former Flowery Branch City Council
"I support John McCain because he is a man who has dedicated his life to serving this country, not a politician but a statesman. Through his many decades of service (that's a plus not a negative) he has demonstrated the wisdom required that inspires people to follow and trust his leadership."

Why do I support John McCain?
We must win the war on Terrorism, and we will not do that by tucking our tails and running home. We must stop our government from wasteful spending, and we will not do that by allowing continued pork barrel spending by our elected officials. There is an easier solution. Give me a President that will fight for me. Give me John McCain for my President. Why do I support the McCain/Palin ticket?I believe a hockey mom and a pitbull is EXACTLY what we need in Washington!
§Julianne Thompson - 7th District Chair
Walton County Chair
§Pat Thrasher - Rabun County Chair
think that the Republicans need to get real serious!!!!!!!!!! Let's boycott all the newspapers that don't give a fair picture of our candidates and refuse to tell all about their candidate who has a past that would spell disaster for anyone but him. It is time to put our money where our mouth is and stop watching CNN and the major networks-------------------LET'S STOP TALKING AND COMPLAINING AND JUST IGNORE THEM. I will watch Shawn's show tonight and I have already looked up the shady things about Obama and there are plenty of things that are proven facts. I am interested in the truth and have researched him------------this is a dangerous man.

I hear a lot of the young voter and speculation as to how we will vote. Well, here I am, casting my first vote and I want everyone to know that I am supporting John McCain and Sarah Palin. My age group has the most to lose if we vote otherwise. Just as we are embarking on either college or a career of our choice, we are in for the fight for our future. Obama is a Socialist and will in essence tax our ambition. No matter how had I work or how I excel, he would take the first few hours I work and give that income to someone else who does not share my enthusiasm for hard work. America is the best country in the world and we so not need to slip into mediocre status that has become the fate of those former great nations that have embraced Socialism. John McCain and Sarah Palin are best equipped to begin to remedy what ails Washington. I want to aspire to be the best and to be rewarded for that hard work. As far as giving to those who are truly needy for a short time in their life, I want to be able to give to those who I want, when I want and where I want (not to those who the government decides FOR me that I have to give). So this 18 year old and most of her friends are voting for McCain.§Katie Walden - Columbus
