Last Push Specifics
from Chairman Suzi Voyles
You are the greatest group of Ladies, ANYWHERE!
I have spoken with many of the other State Chairmen for the Women's coalition and the team that we have is by far exceptional. You are not only creative, but actively pursuing a McCain/Palin victory by leaving no stone unturned.
I know that we have asked much from you, but these efforts will help us maintain our Republic. Here is a slight "tweeking" to the instructions that we had just sent out to help maximize our efforts. I apologize for any duplication, but I figured that was preferable to any omission.
We must focus our efforts now on the following activities:
Signs – all signs need to be put up ASAP in good locations (they are worthless after 11/4th)
Get Out The Vote Calls – we need to make as many GOTV as possible. Please call Justin Tomczak 678 589 4888 for a list if your county does not have access to Voter Vault and he will send you lists. All you need to do is to organize folks to make the calls. A Marietta woman is having a pizza party and a group of gals over to enjoy each other and make the calls. Another group is having a tea party. Nothing need to be elaborate. One suggestion is to have everyone bring their cell phones and call in the evenings or on the weekend when the call cost nothing. Calls can also be made by individuals from their own homes. You will be provided with a script and these are likely Republican voters. We can win, we just need to make sure that everyone votes. You can still get a list through our website, www.GeorgiaWomenForMcCain.org or www.johnmccain.org
Sign WavingSign Waving Monday 10/27
Monday is the first day of multiple site early voting in GA. To kick it off, we'd like for you to approach supportive elected officials to join you and your volunteers by sign waving at busy intersections or prominent locations during the morning drive time. This is typically 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM. Please use any placards or yard signs that you have in addition to making some homemade signs. Here are a few suggestions: "We're all Joes", "Vote McCain Palin", "Fight for Joe the Plumber", "Obama will take Joe's Dough", "Joe the Plumber is the Heart and Soul of GA", "Don't Raise Taxes", "Keep Jobs Vote McCain". You may also include local candidates if you like.
Please let us know when you have finalized a location and we will direct local media to cover your efforts! This will do a lot to earn us good media in GA.
We will also be doing an email blast county by county of the multiple voting sites. We must encourage our strong supporters to vote early! We
have already told you (above) about a final push from 7am-8:30am on Monday, Oct 27th in the morning that will be going on across the State. If these times are not convenient for your group, remember that those who go to work also come home, so 5-7 pm is also a great time. Situate yourselves on an active corner and remember that we can double our efforts and wave for Saxby and your Congressional candidate. If you need creative suggestions for signs like the "Joe the Plummer" ideas, just refer to the earlier email or check out the website.
Letters to the Editor – we need a final push for letters to the editor in support of McCain/Palin. Please take a few minutes to write and submit one to your local paper.
Supporters -- Please don't forget to have women sign up for Georgia Women for McCain on the Supporters page of our website, www.GeorgiaWomenForMcCain.org
Thank you for all you do, we are almost there. Please keep Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin, Saxby and our Congressional candidates in your prayers during this critical time. As always, please feel free to call or email me with any other ideas, suggestions or questions. You are the Molly Pitchers of this election!

Women's Rally for McCain-Palin in Forsyth County - October 18
The Women for McCain of Forsyth County organized a "deployment rally" that took place just before noon on the Courthouse lawn. The morning opened with Kathryn Voyles singing the National Anthem. At least 100 supporters gathered together to listen to State Party Chairman, Sue Everhart, Theresa Milligan of Senator Chambliss' office and Stella Lohmann speak. John Sours, State Chairman of Veterans for McCain, gave an enthusiastic endorsement of John McCain's character. The atmosphere was upbeat and festive, even passing motorists honked their horns in support. There were others from neighboring counties who spoke to the crowd that included supporters of all ages wearing red shirts and sporting "pretend" red lips. The main reason that so many gathered was to learn how they could make a difference by deploying to neighboring states that needed extra manpower to push them closer to a McCain victory. Suzi Voyles, State Chairman of Georgia Women for McCain, explained the process and to the enthusiastic crowd. The "troops" were marshalled and the event concluded with hundreds of red, white and blue balloons being released while others continued to wave McCain/Palin signs to the passing traffic. -- Suzi Voyles
